New Music: Saniyah "Abuse The Music"

Another local Bahamian talent Dinetia Dean now introduces herself to the music scene as the artist Saniyah...after a few listens to her first single "Abuse The Music" there's no denying her talent...the song is very well written and for the most part Saniyah does a really good job...this excerpt i read on The C.S Perspective really sums her up...

"Abuse the music is the debut single from Bahamian Pop singer Saniyah. It’s obvious that this chick has grown up on some Janet Jackson (and to a lesser degree some Ciara) because the influences are unavoidable. The sound is urban but has a slight europop undertone with minimal yet pristine production. Overall it is a fair first offering, which neither dazzles nor disappoints. Really what this song needs is some more ABUSE!! We just wish that the song was attacked with more vigor. Instead of pouncing like a ferocious lioness the chorus was approached like a house cat playing with a ball of yarn. On a more positive note we must give two thumps way up for the songwriters who have crafted something that is danceable and smooth and has an international appeal."
