After serving seven months at Arkansas Forrest City Prison for weapons possession, T.I. was released early this morning and sent to a halfway house in Atlanta.

T.I.’s lawyer Steve Sadow told XXL, “You live within this house that is broken into areas for living, and you are permitted to leave during the day for certain reasons of which would be employment, medical reasons, things of that nature, and you return to the halfway house in the evening.” He said. “So it’s a restriction on your liberty but it’s a way for you to reenter into society and not be confined within a jail type institution 24-hours a day.”

I guess the saying is true that when it rains it pours...first Kid Cudi was kicked off of a tour with Lady Gaga for punching a fan in the face now this...Cudi stopped by LAPD at gunpoint after leaving a photoshoot...apparently they mistook him for a burglar. “Who knows, really, the story changed a bunch,” [Cudi] said. “I’m just happy to be back. I’m a free man! For that moment I was not free. I was in handcuffs. It did not feel very comfortable.” Cudi also said he doesnt hold any grudges towards the cops...“We’re in LA, it’s a rowdy place in the United States, you know?” He said. “And a lot of shit goes down. And these cops have to use force. So it’s, like, I understand that they were doing their job. I just wish we weren’t in that place at that time.“

Nas Ordered To Pay Kelis 51K a Month

A judge says Nas (NAHZ) can afford to pay a little more per month to support his soon-to-be ex-wife, Kelis (kehl-EES'), and infant son.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David Cunningham III on Wednesday ordered the rapper to increase his monthly child and spousal payments to $51,101.

The decision came after a two-day hearing determined that Nas had made enough money in recent months to pay more to support Kelis and the former couple's son, Knight. The rapper has been paying nearly $40,000 a month to support them since July.

His attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, says the judge made the right decision and that overall, the rapper came out ahead. Nas will no longer have to pay the expenses of the former couple's Los Angeles home.

Kelis, who gained fame for the song "Milkshake" is working on a new album.
